Dona Sylvia Resort is one of the most beautiful hotels in India. Designed by the late world-famous architect Charles Correa, the resort is located near the southern tip of Goa in Cavelossim. Spread over 20 acres (8 hectares) of meandering pathways, pools, several restaurants and bars, the resort also features 181 air-conditioned rooms with the kind of amenities you wish you had at home. Encompassing Mediterranean style vibes and villas with verandahs and roof-top terraces, this gorgeous resort is on the expensive side but well worth every second of your stay here.
You'll feel at home the moment you step in
Greeted upon your entrance with a glass of juice of your choosing, from there on, the staff are incredibly helpful. Located 45 km (27.9 miles) from the airport, the staff allow you to relax the moment you step onto the premises. Friendly, courteous and attentive, from the receptionists to the cleaners to the waiters, the staff at Dona Sylvia are impeccable from the get-go. Taking care of your bags and having everything ready for you, whether you’ve taken the train in (15 km or 9.5 miles to the nearest train station) or a flight, everyone is treated with the utmost importance. Located literally on the beach with all the pathways joining to the white, soft, sandy beach, Dona Sylvia’s location couldn’t be better if you’re looking for remote relaxation with family, friends or work associates.
The rooms are luxurious and accommodating
