Mangueshi Temple is actually the family temple of the famous Indian singer, Lata Mangeshkar. I adore the white-and-blue color scheme, as well as the architecture of this temple. I often visit this temple with my family during Shivratri. The temple has a strict, modest dress code - covered knees for women and full pants for men. Outside the temple, vendors sell a host of delicious local fruits. My favorite fruit here is the sweet and sour Starfruit, which is sold with a spice blend for extra flavor.
