Sumida Aquarium serves as the home of over 10,000 sea critters, including but not limited to different varieties of fishes, jellyfish, sharks, rays, seals, and penguins. If you and your date plan on visiting the aquarium, you can get the annual passport to save money to see how the exhibits change across the year. The entrance to the Sumida Aquarium is through the Tokyo Skytree Town. There’s a cafe and a souvenir shop if you and your date want to get food or memorabilia.

2. Ueno Park

Ueno Park, a 54-hectare (133-acre) public park, is perhaps most known for being one of the best places to see cherry blossoms between March and April. However, it also features other attractions that guests can enjoy practically all year round, including but not limited to the Kaneiji Temple, the Toshogu Shrine, Bentendo, the Ueno Zoo, the Tokyo National Museum, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. Make sure to dedicate at least one day here if you wish to explore the park’s various sights and activities.

3. Chidorigafuchi Moat

This area particularly comes alive when the cherry blossoms are in bloom, as the walkway leading up to the moat is lined by sakura trees that turn the lake pink when their petals float on the waters. Tokyo Summerland is a water park that welcomes guests of all ages. It is one of the biggest water parks in the city and features facilities such as swimming pools, slides, rides, and a lazy river. 6. Odaiba Ōedo-Onsen-Monogatari


A visit to Tokyo is not complete without going to an onsen (hot spring bath). Odaiba Ōedo-Onsen-Monogatari is a hot springs park that features 13 different hot spring baths. Besides the baths themselves, couples can enjoy the spa treatments offered here. They can also take a nap in one of the lounges there. Yukata rentals are included in the rates, so guests can don these traditional clothes while exploring the neighborhood. Konica Minolta Planetarium actually has two theaters: Manten and Tenku, both of which are located in Tokyo. Regardless of which theater you visit, expect a relaxing experience here when catching a show, complete with soft music and pleasant aromas.
