Located in Superior, CO, this outdoor skating facility is suitable for people of all age groups. Major skateboarding obstacles featured in this park include half-pipes, low-grinding rails, and two-level concrete ledges, amongst others. If you are planning to take your kids, then this is a good place to go. However, be aware that this is an unsupervised facility. So, if you are not very confident about your moves or those of your kids, ensure you are more careful and carry your safety gear along. There are also a couple of pickleball courts and a bike park in the vicinity. You can also take your pet dog for a walk at the small dog park nearby.

2. Snowmass Village Skatepark in Aspen

Set in a huge 60,000 sq ft (5,574 sq m) area, this gigantic skatepark is not only suitable for skateboarders, but also for rollerbladers and BMX bikers. No matter which age group you belong to or how well-versed you are with the sport, this skatepark will serve you well. Situated right in downtown Denver, it features a whole lot of obstacles, including quarter pipes, half pipes, bowls, curbs, rails, ramps, ledges, and skate boxes. Therefore, you’ll have plenty of challenges to overcome while skateboarding here, and that too, without getting bored. And because of its location downtown, there are also ample fun things to see and do nearby.

4. Buena Vista Skate Park

Whether you are an ardent skateboarder or a passionate biker, this skatepark in Buena Vista, CO will definitely get your adrenaline pumping. Especially, if you are planning to take your kids along, this is a good place. The ledges, rails, and bowls here are super fun. The best part is that it has special seating space for the parents while the children practice their moves. However, this skatepark doesn’t have any lights, so avoid visiting after sundown for safety. Right across the street from this facility, there is also a kids’ park where the entire family can picnic and have a whole lot of fun.

5. Northside DIY - Aztlan Skatepark in Fort Collins

Opened in 2008 in a good 17,000 sq ft (1,579 sq m) area, this skatepark is one of the popular local hangout spots in Fort Collins. Both, skateboarding as well as biking are allowed here. There is no pool here; however, there are plenty of rails, skate boxes, and ledges. If you are a beginner or just want to have a little bit of practice, we recommend you to visit this park. It tends to get a bit crowded after 11am, so if you intend to skate peacefully, consider going there a bit earlier in the morning.

6. Roxborough Skatepark in Littleton

Ideal for all levels of skateboarders, this little skatepark is located in Littleton. With nice, flowy transitions and unique ramps, this park presents interesting obstacles to the skaters. There are also deep bowls and a whole lot of intersecting runs to engage the most adventurous souls. However, consider heading there a little earlier in the day; it tends to get crowded, especially with kids, as the day progresses. In the vicinity, there is also a small children’s playground and a beautiful walking trail with a pond – a great spot for a family picnic.

It features a couple of ledges, rails, and banks. This facility is extremely well-suited for kids, and if you wish to teach some skateboarding moves to your little ones, this is a great place to start. There is a beautiful park around with long walking trails and a riverbank. Spend a lively afternoon with your family and friends here; you won’t be disappointed.

There are pools, stairs, rails, ledges, and skate boxes, among other challenges. Snake run is one of the unique features here, which the kids will especially enjoy. You can easily spend a couple of hours with your children here without them getting bored. All in all, this skatepark provides a lot of excitement and thrill to skaters of all ages and expertise levels.

This is a medium-size outdoor skatepark located in Northglenn, CO. Featuring both, vertical and street elements, this concrete facility is an exciting place to hone your skateboarding skills. There is a good variety of ramps and rails, alongside a deep bowl. The staff is always available, in case you need any help while on the premises. So, safety is not a concern here. However, it is advisable to carry safety equipment while practicing your moves here. Picnic tables are also available at this facility, so you can spend some good time with your family.

Located right in Denver but in one of its secluded and peaceful corners, this is a well-constructed park that will definitely impress you. The park has plenty of ramps, banks, rails, and stairs with smooth transition. So, whether you are a novice or an advanced player, the park will keep you engaged for a while. You will also find a lot of kids with their scooters here. It is a great place to spend quality time with your children. They also have a nice picnic area where you can spend a nice, laid-back afternoon.
