Among the well-preserved mosques in Quba that display a unique form of architecture dating back to the 19th century, one stands out because of the materials used to build it. According to locals, the structure was constructed with bricks, and surprisingly, chicken eggs were used as the binder instead of cement.

This impressive mosque was commissioned by the widow of a well-known Azerbaijani writer and scientist, Abbasgulu Bakikhanov, in honor of his memory. The colorful mosque, which was restored in 1993, stands 27 meters (88.6 feet) high.
