Riccione, a township located in Rimini Province, in Emilia-Romagna, northern Italy, has a small population of about 36,000 people. It is known as the ‘Green Pearl’ of the Adriatic for its beautiful parks and 19th-century villas, attracting travellers of all ages. Riccione’s main streets, which are Viale Ceccarini and Viale Dante, are the best places to eat and shop during the day and are basically two long streets, full of exclusive boutiques, shops, bars and restaurants. Cycling is another popular activity in Riccione, not to be missed.
If you’re travelling by air, the nearest airport is the Federico Fellini Airport, in Miramare di Rimini, which is only a couple of kilometres (1.2 miles) from Riccione.
