Jiro Ono is a world famous sushi master and the owner of the three Michelin-star awarded restaurant Sukiyabashi Jiro. It is located in Ginza, Tokyo and seats around 10 people in a counter-style seating fashion. Sukiyabashi Jiro maintains the tradition of Edo-style sushi. Edo is the old name for Tokyo and this type of sushi initially originated in the 1820s. This place is a favourite among locals as well as tourists and most of them come for the cuisine created by the Japanese master himself.

Sushi No Midori is located in the Umegaoka main building in Tokyo. It is easily accessible by foot from the Odakyu Line Umegaoka station. It can comfortably seat 144 people and is a popular choice in Tokyo when it comes to sushi food. It often sees long queues and waiting time during peak hours. The portion sizes are normally bigger than what is expected for a serving of sushi and this adds to their fan following.
